Moms Demand Action

Moms Demand Action is not really upset that you can;t bring a skateboard into Krogers, they’re upset that Krogers has a pro open carry stance. This is just one of several ads featuring a gun toting shopper standing next to someone doing something that Krogers won’t allow. You can sign the petition here.

  • sent this to my friend who is a fellow army vet and skater. he told me of manytimes hes been out on the streets carrying and skating. doing so has gotten him out of many bad situations. say what you want, but when it comes down to it, if im at a spot that sucks then i want to know someone has my back besides a badge holder.

  • yep failure of a lib agenda. many of my friends in az skate and carry. you cant win in libifornia though. too bad. seems like a good place to skate never been there though haha

  • Warning!!: Never attempt open carry while not white.

Being not white makes open carry a crime.

    • Careful, your playin’ with fire with a comment like that.

  • I was in the Gateway Freddy’s (owned by Kroger) the other day. While standing at the meat counter a guy skates by on his Penny board. The butcher just shrugged and said “Eh, something new everyday at this store”. There were no guns used in this skateby.

  • Wonder if’n a Kroger’s ever been robbed at gunpoint by a Democratic voter?

only let the good people have guns—-problem solved

there was a murder here in Coos Bay 2 weeks ago. The dude used an AK47, had bomb in car, killed his dad and had a bomb there too. Besides the gun…the common thread was weak white male.

  • When white people run out of real problems…

  • more money wasted by the liberal left. had there been a concealed carry patriot in the safeway massacre in az jared loughner would have been a blood smear instead of gabby giffords being in a coma. Do not use skateboarding to promote your worthless liberal agenda people. there a feminist facebook page decrying the patriarchy of skateboarding now too. its getting ridiculous.

Jeez Mike, were you there, or did you suffer more brain damage than Gabby elsewhere? How the hell you gonna get the jump on a surprise shooter before he starts killing, without going around shooting everybody around you who looks your idea of suspicious? You need to get out of your head more often. Go work on your coping skills… maybe while listening to some nice oldies from JFA.

      • just spoke to chief petty officer brian brannon the other day in fact. he is also a fellow vet and skater. a man who no doubt has had to defend himself in the past. hes also an arizonan. perhaps it is you failifornia libs who need to learn a bit about our freedoms in this country. wake the hell up. theres nothing wrong with carrying either inside of a store. if a store says i cant carry my board or my gun i leave. simple as that. i have a right to defend myself and skateboard. and so do you. time to wake up and put all the statist rhetoric aside. or move to china. your move.

Stay in Arizona. Seems like a place you enjoy.

Something tells me you’re not wanted elsewhere.

        • JFA aren't Arizonans?

My move, if I were you, would be to stop being a pussy, so you don’t feel the need to carry. Then again, if I were you, you would not be one in the first place, and wouldn’t be so put-upon. I can recall a conversation between a gun enthusiast skate park manager, who was looking to get into law enforcement, a police lieutenant, and myself, wherein I mentioned to the manager that it’s (police work) not really about firepower, and is ninety percent “diplomacy”… and the lieutenant (who wasn’t there to bother skaters) said “Oh, more than that…”, regarding my 90%. But hey, go watch some episodes of “Justified”… it’ll get your shooting rocks off without even making you want to blow up federal buildings (but be careful, it may be some commie plot to make you a federalist).

          • Subtle Localism

Ah, I thought you were babbling about some unrelated petty officer, name didn’t ring a bell. So, has he decided not to go through with killing presidents ever since he realized Jody isn’t impressed by men that way… or, did HE not lack a sense of the absurd, back when they came up with the name? And by the way… what the hell makes you think I or many of us at all on here are from your nearest and dearest neighbor/bogeyman state?

Liberal agenda… Well yes, but just look at that picture. It’s OK to bring a loaded gun into Krogers, but you’re not allowed to bring skateboard because it is “dangerous.” Almost sounds like a headline from the Onion. Krogers has weird idea of dangerous.

  • It’s a little over the top that you walk around with a ak 47 to buy groceries.

Guns don’t kill people, people kill people, guns just make it easier for a 90 pound crackhead to spray a strip mall

I read ‘saucers’ instead of sauces.
