Forgot to post these actually, from the Team Pain park in Arvada, Colorado. Photos courtesy of COSkate.com. A nice video montage too, after the jump.

Having transplanted from Ewgene to Denver I can say without a doubt that Colorado surpassed Oregon in skatepark number and design some time ago. With the exception of Lincoln City and a few others, Oregon parks no longer compare with Pain’s current class. Just look at Roxsborough, Northglenn, Lafayette and Colorado Springs. Gnarvada tops this list. Alas, you still have better coffee.

Without a doubt? Not so sure of that. The NW is littered with world class parks not just from Dreamland, but Grindline as well.

Look’s like Team Pain really covered all the bases of park design. Massive snake run looks like fun a long with the rest of the park.

Looks like an all-around blast! If I ever go through Colorado, I would make a point to head out to Arvada!

Is Colorado looking to bump Oregon from the title of “Mecca of Skateparks”? They are certainly on the right track with all this amazing Team Pain ‘crete.

We skated here in Nov 2011. This place is amazing! The Hanger Bowl replica is perfect. Snakerun is insane and that “potato chip” thing is well … just out there. I love how “city spots” and “skateable art” were incorporated into the design.
Just wow …

Arvada looks like a great skatepark. I guess Morrissey’s whining speaks
to the current youth skate culture.

Looks like an amazing park!
