This calendar is on the wall of one of my coworker’s cubicle. Something about the board looks odd. The size seems small and a closeup of the trucks looked oddly familiar.
What’s up with those trucks? I went back the oversized scan to investigate. Ah yes, looks like an X-Games logo on the wheels. Funny that they turned them around so the logo wouldn’t show, but they didn’t think it through all the way. And yes, we have seen this before.

Those trucks are jones, they came out in the late 90s early 2000. They failed at marketing and went out of business very quick. I myself loved skating them they were so light! The issue with the design was if you wanted stiffer or softer you had to buy a diff bushing. I’m still trying to find a set even today but no one seems to know what they really are.

have you seen those urethane trucks. the axle is connected to the base plate by a urethane thingy, Brazilian I think

I posted a comment last time you featured these monstrosities ( see link above ), because I have actually seen a set. I remember now they were called Jones Trucks and I’m sure a small ad even appeared in Thrasher somewhere in the mid- 90’s.
