I was at the mall yesterday, accumulated material for at least four posts. I should hang out there more often. There’s like 15 stores dedicated to various aspects of my “lifetsyle.” I got to see an iPad in person. I was dubious at first, but they really are greater than the sum of their parts, ie. an oversized iPhone. The display is really bitching, and it’s hella thin. I say “hella” because I’m overcompensating for the fact that I feel old because I couldn’t figure out how to play Touchgrind on the iPad.
Seriously, I couldn’t make it work. It kept going backwards and I couldn’t steer it. I did keep doing accidental kickflips. It’s not made for goofy foot fingerboarders. The two kids next to me had it wired, and they refused to give me any tips now matter how loudly hinted.
Skate and Annoy looks pretty good on an iPad, but I noticed a rendering problem with mobile Safari. For some reason the left sidebar doesn’t want to stay fixed. I would say that I’m not a nerd, but I was standing in an Apple store taking a picture of an iPad with my iPhone, so….

Now everybody has a child car moniter that can fit in a headrest & go with you! Somebody make a mobile holder for a car headrest quick $$$, you will look like a baller on pimp my ride!!
