Plenty of kooks ride short boards too. I guess you
    should stop skateboarding.

  • Gnarles Copinghagen

Check out Shane Allen on you-tube. he skates a longboard exactly like you would a standard board. Street, pools, bowls, whatever.

  • nweyesk8

again what is wrong with longboards? I understand your point Collin, that a lot of longboarders are retards, but we shouldn’t hate on the board itself but on the kook giving longboards a bad reputation.

Oh where is the BCSA post…. seems someone thinks that lego skateboarding is more important than a sweet art show/skatepark benefit/concert/beer/wine/food/good times…….or i could just be smoking meth.

Colin, you’re getting on my nerves. You have your own site, feel free to make your posts on your order and schedule.

long boarding, or what i like to call wrong-boarding is all over corvallis. get your self some flippy floppy’s, shades, a bright colored shirt and you are in. what I do not like about long boarders is they consider each other as skaters and say that “yes I skateboard” no you dont. you push a longboard around and line it up w/ the sidewalk every time there is a crosswalk. Its is a lot different if you go fast down hills, but you dont need a longboard to do that. “…oh thats cool I cant ride those short boards, they are too hard to balance on”-some wrong-boarder that my roommate talked to. Shit its sunny, time to switch into shorts and a little tankie, grab my sweet Arbor board and a Dutch Bros, yeww!! sup ladies?!

  • colinwalshrules

  • colinwalshrules

who said I was going to sign anything, I might be so wasted that I will pass out on the elevator ride up. Play on players.

  • We appreciate your support nweyesk8 (we will even reimburse you for the ear plugs)and yours too Stan (your art is killer). To tie this to the topic… MC (aka Antigravity Press) donated two prints and a pair of draft comic panels which will be in the silent art auction. Thanks MC, we hope to see you at the show.

I enjoy a wide variety of music, but live music is never that great, last years show is a perfect example. even pressed against a wall at maximum distance from the speakers it was still just a bunch of really loud noise with somewhat of a drum beat. but like I said I am not going for the music, i’m going for the cause and I will definitely be bringing earplugs and an Ipod…..

  • Off Topic but by popular demand…

you dont have to go you know……..

  • nweyesk8

while I look forward to the art aspect of the BCSA show, I don’t look forward to crappy live music……

  • I think you should put the green haired kid’s face on a shirt. he’s cool.

  • I guess I’m okay with loving Dan Gesmer since he’s so good looking and all, but Todd Falcon just grates on me…

  • The Benton County Skateboard Alliance is having their Art auction/bands/beer benefiting their skatepark in Corvallis. Im coming from Vancouver with some killer “Old School” skater art. Hope to see anybody possible there as well. Rumor, and I only speculate on rumors, is that the S and A guys may have something up as well? Can that be confirmed? Last year was a good time. From my understanding, they have really stepped it up this year. Check them out!!!

  • Gravity and Friction are more than enough drama for me!
