TuneBug Shake is the name of this modern day adaptation of the Bone Fone. You plug this thing into your iPod, and then attach it to back of your helmet where it vibrates sound through the helmet while still allowing you to hear what is going on in your surroundings, at least until the first time you wilson and shatter $120 worth of plastic and circuitry on the concrete. $120? The volume is better than iPod headphones in my estimation, but not by much. I didn’t work on the Bone Fone, but sure wish that I had.

Coulter, worked on the Bone Fone or the Vibe/Shake gadget?
I’m curious to try one out on a motorcycle helmet (cause if I hit my head an break the 120$, that’ll be a drop in the bucket compared to the pending bills afterwards).
I’m 90% deaf, can ya give me a good estimation about it’s volume output? On par with the stock iPod headphones?
