Tony Hawk Huckjam Bikes commercial

Huckjam Bikes commercial

OK, I know this sort of falls outside of the scope of this website, at least I think it does, but I’m not sure anymore. So maybe this is the first and last time I post a commercial for Tony Hawk’s Huckjam bikes, unless there’s skateboarding in the future ones. Listen for his celebrity voiceover at the end. That almost looks like Tony as the mad scientist. It’ll be hard to tell from the Russian YouTube video quality. I can’t figure out how to delete an RuTube video, much less make it higher quality. My four year old loves riding his bike, and he knows who Tony Hawk is, sort of. He got really excited about this commercial. As he emphatically relayed it to his mom, “Tony Hawk makes bicycles. They’re for boys like me. They’re my size. They don’t have training wheels. They’re just for boys like me.” Come on product review!

  • I guess the huckjam does have bikes in it, but still kinda wierd

  • BJJPDX/Tom

Tony Hawk will put his name on anything for the right fee. At this point I wouldnt be surprised if they started selling Tony Hawk Huck Jam condoms.

  • I saw a Spencer Hawk scooter at Toys ‘R’ Us…has SnA covered this yet?

  • BMXr Mike Escamilla was involved with the production/design of the bikes, so he did bring in someone who knows what’s up with bikes. But, I’m kinda with ya, I don’t know that the HuckJam brand really needed this, though it is hella better than the freakin’ birthday party paper goods and bed sheets! (I don’t feel there needed to be a HuckJam BRAND at all really. And I’m FanBoy.)

I saw one of these bikes when I was out shopping for my boy. It seemed pretty cheaply made. Bulky, heavy, etc. Tony is amazing as a skater, but why this? Maybe his legacy does not matter to him. Or maybe he’s just gotten so well known that nothing could ruin his legacy. He still does great things in the world of skateboarding, but I can’t help but be a little disgusted by this cheap crap. Whatever, maybe I’m just too judgemental. I guess I’d like to make some money too. I just don’t know if I could lower myself this far if I was already loaded.

  • Riding bikes is fun. If I were four, I would definitely want one of these based on that commercial. I really hope the quality is at least ok/serviceable.

  • It is indeed Tony as the mad scientist. Fairly certain it’s his voice all the way through. Here’s the ShredorDie.com link: http://www.shredordie.com/videos/aebb53f130/tony-hawk-huckjam-bikes-commercial
