Gigi Cifali has some great pictures of unskateable empty pools. You could hang these in your house and visitors would have to decode them to figure out that you are a skateboarder. Well except for that Zorlac shrine in the bedroom. Click on the Absence of Water link (second from the left. Link from the William Gibson blog.

Hey Fitz… thats a great idea!

Some of those buildings are amazing. Time for a few buckets of mud and a trowel. Covered, too…

well you are lucky to even have a top 10 🙂
what a bummer that they let some of those SWIMMING pools fall to decay. those indoor ones are gorgeous, could you imagine that Vans combi replica placed in one of those gothic arenas?

Believe me, I am no snob…I live in Colorado! I’ll skate me some squares! I was just joking above, but I have to say there are no squares in my top 10:)

I don’t know Ash? the one in the upper left looks skateable to me (if it’s not too trashed). not in a “pool skating” way. another one if you follow the link looks like a cool “street spot”. I grew up skating a square pool that had banked sides. it was fun. but it was not like what we know of as “pool skating”

Is this a series? If so, I have suggestions on titles:
Bummer 1
Bummer 2
Bummer 3
Bummer 4
