I was perplexed because it was still early in his career here and on the surface his comment wasn’t drastically more annoying than most. I remember thinking “How bad can he be?” I mean, he has friends. Well, now I know. It took me forever to find a picture of this guy while searching “Daddy Yo” and “skateboard” in Google Images. It’s a big surprise that SnA has most of the recent listings for unrelated images, which makes me wonder how Google Images compiles their data. He did turn up in person over at the Extreme Carving forum executing a flyout grab on his alterna-board complete with bindings while exclaiming “I made this board to jump.” If anyone has a decent photo of him, we can make him Annoying Kid of the Month. Remember, it’s perfectly legal to take his picture at a public skatepark. So I’m sure he’ll weigh in on this post, maybe threatening a lawsuit or involving the police in some capacity. Maybe he’s just playing an elaborate internet hoax. In any case…

public space doesnt require permits to take photo’s, you fucking bag. i worked in the film industry for awhile..i worked for paramount. perhaps youve seen a show called “jackass”?..i worked production on that show for a few and i can assure you that taking photo’s in the public domain requires no notice or fee. if you intend to sell said footage for direct profit, a release is required as well as a screen actors guild compensation of $150 a day flat for non-speaking roles and $250 for speaking performances.
(for film only) if you are just some dude, rolling around in a photo on a website thats not actually selling that photo…you dont get shit, and are not entitled to anything at all. if you are on private property or a business nothing more than a plainly posted sign is needed to inform people that filming is taking place, by entering said posted property you give consent to be filmed and photographed. (usually a permit required in this instance.) but when one is on public property,(which parks dept/skatepark property is) no such notification is necessary since it resides in a free public place paid for with taxpayer dollars. and just like homeland security dictates, if you are in the public domain you consent to being photographed..ie: traffic cameras, spycams at the park, security devices and cameras on street corners etc. thats how it works. you are uninformed as usual and still a blowhard bag of shit. and you know you’ll never come to burnside you candy ass flyout kook..for several reasons.
1.) your a kook who can barely skate therefore the terrain there is far more than you can handle…you aint got the chops, son.
2.) your mouth will get you smacked up most likely.
3.) theres no place for you to do “jumps”..or at least anywhere where you would have the balls to “jump”. maybe the baby spine is your potential ripping ground? its pretty much the only flyout line to flat.
4.) your an internet mouthpiece. nothing more. just a kook with a keyboard and too much time to complain and make threats about trivial shit.

I don’t know about the Franklyn TN skate park. We were never involved in that project. We rarely bother bidding on parks by Site Design or California skate parks, their approach is very different than ours.

sorry kilwag I have a comment and a anecdote. first off I don’t consider myself a member of the skate and annoy, I have been reading it for over a year on only recently have posted comments. they have related to things I care about, the bacon vid, alternative materials. and how rad I think last years hood river bowl is. and I related to daddy yo’s lack of fitting in with whats going on around him. I probably in my individual way would fit in with all the skateboarders that post comments on this, if we were all at some park. but my in my background skating has been for outcasts, so I can see how it feel good to keep doing what I do, when people around me are hating on what I do. but this has not really been about people hating on yo’s board, just his attitude. sir I am only a suporter of you in that I have posted coments. now for the anecdote. in 1985 this kid from california moved up to the tri cities wa. this dude could ollie!!! he was prity much the first one any of us saw do this amazing feat!!!! and this dude was fucking awsome on his skateboard. anyways once and awhile he would bust out a windsurf board strap and we all thought he was crazy cos he had the ollie like no one else around. one time around 1988, he entered a “street” (jump ramp) contest. and without telling anyone he put on his strap and his first launch was so huge the parking lot went wild!!! as his run went on it was apparent he had the strap and he did not win the contest, he could have just skating but he chose to go huge! I know the photo is old, and his air is bigger than mine, but step it up man, I’ve seen what staps can do! ok I will try and blend into the background again
