More Xtreme-Mas

My kids have already been to two outdoor animated light shows this year, which means I went too. I’ve idly wondered how much some of these setups costs. Thanks to Mac’s daughter Caroline for finding Santa’s elves riding a half pipe, or as they say in the industry “Animated Skateboarding Elf Half Ramp.” Apparently there are two different size versions of this thing, coming in at an unbelievable $26,638.65 for the 38″ long model and a slightly less ridiculous $6,565.00 for the 25 foot long version. If that’s too steep for you, there’s a plain old five foot long skateboard for $375. No word on the availability of Menorahs on a skateboard for those celebrating Hanukkah.

I can’t believe they don’t have animated images of these things. If anyone sees one in the wild, please send in some pics or video.

The heavyweight champ, hailing from Christmas Lights Etc., weighing in at $26,638.65, it’s “25′ X 38′ Animated Skateboarding Elf, Multicolored Lamps.” Go ahead, click on the “add to cart” button just to see how it feels.

Elves doing hand plants. I need 3.

  2. For that price the little bastard should have a 900.

  3. OK. Now it makes sense. It’s 38′ (feet) not 38″ (inches). Who’s editing this site? 🙂

  4. Come on.
    Quit hating on the elves.

  6. It’s kind of like that Spinal Tap scene where the band want an 18′ (foot) Stonehenge replica and instead they get an 18″ (inch) one.

  7. …you read my mind
