Ray Underhill R.I.P.
Boardistan is reporting that Bones Brigade understudy Ray Underhill passed away this morning after a long battle with a brain tumor. Sean Mortimor is credited as the source, but so far no official word on the Ray Underhill site, or Eastern Skate Supply, where he worked. I’m proud to say I met Ray and skated with him at Tony’s Hawks Fallbrook Ramp with Scott Starr and Tom Inouye. A true gentleman and great role model.
I skated with Ray a few times, I am not sure he knew I was skating, none the less the sessions were good and I will be sad that it won’t happen again.
RIP Ray. He will be missed, no doubt. Style for days.
