Your face is jammin’
Your body’s heck-a-slammin’

That’s one tweaked out rocket air. My face is red, I stand corrected (I stand corrected)

  • I really don’t have an opinion on this matter because the fit and skatability (is this a word?) is all that matters, not the brand. The styles I like usually go out of production after a few months, so unless I want to search eBay, I gotta go with what I find in the local shops.

So, for the record, the eS Garcia 2s are built like Vans Rowley’s with more padding. So if you can’t bring yourself to but Vans because they are selling at JC Penny, then go to a shop and pick those up.

Did that sound like I had an opinion? Sorry if I took a side!I really don’t care that much!

  • Sure would be nice to get a huge box of em for SkateandAnnoy.. WHere is the NW Rep.. Call him out
Vans has dough & look there getting free publicity from you right now.!

& Tell that Rep. to put me on the flow list,, funny they didnt even honor a voucher for halfcabs from the NON-Test at Burnside, it was a month past the cupon expired but come on, I even wrote a note cause I was out of state.

  • got my vans on but they look like sneakas

  • THEY LIVE, WE SLEEP

I knew professional skateboarder of monsterous stature to remain unamed who was sponsered by vans. This was because they hooked him up w/ custom size 16. He said no other shoe sponsor could accomodate.

I like vans for the hard sole and waffel/gum design. You may get bruises on your heels but you get bruises when you skate. Unless you skate like a big pussy.

  • damienhialation

    p.s. Pricky Pete, you rock!

  • damienhialation

You Lollipop-kid tiny-footed sons-of-bitches! Me and my size 15 feet don’t have the luxury of “choosing” shoes as they only make a few in my size (including vans). I hate you people… 😉

  • abegnegal

All you vanimals are worried that a corporation sold out the way of airwalk, W.I. You define yourself with a lfestyle brandname and you are the brandname. No Logo homo.

  • Steve Van Doren endorses Rampech modular skateparks.
    ’nuff said.

  • PantCrap

Prickly Pete, that was funny as heck!

  • yeah the zoom tres lasted me a long time. in fact the soles wore out and i never got an ollie hole or ripped lace. 90 bucks is alot for shoes but those were pretty much worth it. once you get used to the look of them theyre great.

  • I actually bought Zoom Tre’s. Never thought I would go for shoes like that but I was moved by the effort they put into them. They are probably the most comfortable shoes I’ve ever owned.

  • enemy combatant

$22 Airspeeds from Wal-Mart = more money for beer!

  • Vans = $50 heel bruises every time I skate.

  • Prickly Pete

Non-skaters are now allowed to purchase and wear clothing items manufactured just for use by qualified skaterboarders? The age old question of “what should I wear” is really beginning to hit home with us core, gnar dog types. I’m going shopping this weekend and need to know which line of footwear will be acceptable and create a real impression with the guys at that next big hessian session. Not Vans — got it!

  • screw that, now you see vision street wear and airwalks at big 5 on sale for 19 bucks (along with world industries), what happened? airwalk and vsw were once reputable brands. im sure vans will soon be in the same boat, they’re right next to the hawk shoes at kohl’s. at least they still sort of have cred with the tnt’s and rowleys. i’m wearing fallens right now and have a sweet pair of swooshtika p-rods in the chamber…i wish they’d finally get a shoe that didn’t get ollie holes without shoe goo and ripped laces already. the zoom tres are close but theres room for improvement still. i miss the airwalks with the lace covers.

vans is about as core as converse. And who owns converse again? Oh yeah, Nike.

  • Vans is way corer. As are Airwalk and some other things that aren’t core at all.

  • Van’s was sold to the same company that owns Abercrombie. True story.
