Troy Sliter was part of the crew from the Northwest that went on the road trip this year. His faction split off to hit some Norcal spots. He made a video and slideshow that starts where everyone split up. I’ve never seen an old man skater who looked & skated like me ’til this “alternate route” vid. Full beard & stache, goofy stance, even a nose-grab drop-in (sometimes) – I’m there. Maybe we could arrange to alternate who takes the first try at sketchy stuff: successes count for both of us, reduces slamming wear and tear overall. It could work… Tell me how, and I’ll send a clip: see for yourselves. 45 – So what? Anyway, looks like you guys had a great trip.

Since we only had a few days we had to skate at whack times. I guess Wed eves are when it is happening in SJ, we left Wed am. Also, I was skating most of the time so it was tough capturing the full deal. As for the sound track MC, nice suggestions but I’m trying not to be so old.

Dang, looks like we missed out on some fun. We’ll definitely have to head down there soon. Nice job on the video. I think some nice Jackson Brown or Joanie Mitchell would be a nice alternate soundtrack.
