Through the magic of the Interweb!™ I am able to bring you this heart wrenching tale of a columnist for the Icelandic Review who wants to learn how to skateboard in the worst way.
So I’m here to make a plea to the little 12-year-old bros or any of you living in Iceland proficient (and patient) enough: teach me how to skateboard..
I’m not sure why she wants to learn from 12 year olds. Perhaps Icelandic teens have better things to do. She’ll need a loaner board while she decides whether or not she’s in it for the long haul. For your troubles, she’ll take you to dinner or buy you some “skate stuff.” Failing skateboarding, she also needs a place to live, and I’m guessing a date with someone her own age to keep out of jail.
..So if you want to teach me how to skateboard – or equally important, know of an apartment downtown or nearby (I’m too old for roommates so I’m looking for a studio or one bedroom) opening up in August hit me back. Furnished is preferred. Any tip leading to the capture of a great apartment will reap a monetary reward. Or dinner’s on me. I mean it.
Man, things sound weird over there. Sara says there almost at 24 hours of daylight over there, which might explain it. This is a shout out to all five of the people from Iceland who visited Skate and Annoy this month. Yes, it’s true, thanks to Google Analytics. I put it to you, our five loyal Icelandic readers. Help out a countrywoman in need, but make sure you post the video on YouTube and send us some pictures. And lastly. As Iceland has no other world famous people that I am aware of, I apologize to Bjork for making her the visual butt of our joke. I want to make it clear that I actually like that wacky little minx. What’s no to love?

Bjork is a mean tech skater, she rode for
Alien Workshop for a while… but quit to
pursue a musical career full time.

She’s too old for roommates, but she wants to be the sugar momma to a prepubescent boy. Maybe this is an elaborate scheme like “Hi, I’m a fifteen year old dying of leukemia, please send me naughty pictures.” Or maybe she is under the misconception that only 12 year olds can skate.
