Honda Says: Skateboards are for Hippies

A couple of years back Honda had an ad compaign for their low emissions and fuel efficient cars. I think it predates the Hybrid Civics actually. Somewhere I have the pages which might have a date. Right now all I can find is the scans which have a creation date of 4-28-00.

So here it is as it appears in a magazine. Below are the individual pages. Looks like they got this image from a commercial clip art source cause that skateboard looks like an 80’s era toy. Although, I suppose you can still buy them at Toy-R-Us and the like, but it looks larger. Anyway, the tone of the ad implies that skateboards are toys. The Big Wheel is new school – check out the front rim. Nice bike too.
