Outside of a couple of guys that are my age I’ve actually started skating with mostly guys that are a good 15 years younger then me. I personally find that the guys in my age group and older can be way more snobby.
It is implied that you did pass said test and joined the session. Enjoy. Pass on your knowledge so that others too may join the session.
