Turningpoint
February 1979 and “Skateboard Madness” is about to be released. The future never looked brighter before the bottom dropped out… If you look closely, you can barely make ou tteh turning point capsule details in this dark photo.
Turningpoint
There is a lot going on here at Turningpoint. The movie “Skateboard Madness” is just around the corner, but most importantly, my ramp is in its final stages of production. Kent, Jerry, and myself have designed some dynamic boards. My personal model the “SS 10″ Block Tail” (also available with a bent tail) is made of 5-ply rock hard maple, with precision wheel wells, full tape and decals.
I feel there is a lot left to explore in this sport. Board design and components still have a long way to go. Turningpoint is creating a new, fresh approach to skateboarding.
Our objective is to expand public recognition of skateboarding as a profession.
