Statum Silver
“The Statum Silver range completely shattered all my old prejudices about skateboarding – and the reason why is so obvious:” says Steve Peters*
STATUM SKATEBOARDING
…Steve goes on
The Statum Silver range offers me the kind of board I need for every kind of skateboarding (slalom, long Jump, free style, high jump, downhill racing etc.) so I reckon that you should be able to find a suitable board for yourself from the Silver range.
Earlier I never really used a wooden board at all, because of their poor durability. Statum has solved this problem too, and manufactures its Silver Streak (27″) and Silver Arrow (29″) decks from tough Finnish laminated birch. That’s not all – both nose and tail are specially strengthened.
NOSE TAIL
In this way it’s been possible to lighten the decks noticeably and to make them smooth and streamlined. Simply speaking they’re the world’s best wooden boards.
Statum Silver Jet boards are the best in their class. The material used is unidirectionally bonded, carefully selected surface birch ply, specially developed for Statum products in mind. The strength of this special raw material has proved to be as much as double that of normal high quality ply woods. But even this wasn’t enough for Statum – they went and developed a neat, glittering metalflake finish for their Silver Jet decks.
The Silver Flex is a fibreglass deck: its lightness and flexibility are the result of long. secret production development. I use Silver Flex in slalom events because the board gives me confidence and security.
All In all the whole Statum range is neatly taped, carefully made quality.
Statum gives you speed. quality and value for your money.
