Radical Moves
This is an ad for an independent movie / skate video centering around a road trip to the World’s Fair/ Expo in Vancouver, BC for a skateboard contest. I think Jeff Phillips makes his acting debut in this.
I have a VHS dub of this that cuts out about 20 minutes early, so alas I don’t know how it ends.

A True Adventure from EXPO’s TRANSWORLD SKATEBOARD CHAMPIONSHIPS Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
Dear Mom and Dad:
There is something I’ve wanted to tell you for the past two weeks, but I knew if I told you. you wouldn’t let me go. I’m going to Canada, to the Expo in Vancouver, for the
Transworld Skateboard Championships.
Now don’t have a mental breakdown! I’ll be fine! I’ve got everything I Need — money, food and clothes. I’m 18 and I can take care of myself. Please try to understand how I feel. This is going to be the biggest skating event ever! Pros and amateurs from all over the world are going to be there… I’ll only be gone two weeks. This really means a lot to me. Please don’t think this is just another one of my radical moves!
I love You.
Steve
PS. Please feed Ollie and Grind while I’m gone.
