I have an R288 – the gold coloured metal skateboard (bottom left of the advert). Never seen another one and wondering what the benefit of a completely inflexible deck was. Speed? Did they cost more at the time, and are they worth more nearly 50 years on?

I have some great Morris vulcan stuff one of my auntie worked as his secretary in the heyday of the mid to late 70s I’ve got some wicked originals t shirts and she also got me some excellent skates at the time for instance I still have a sims quicksilver with gold acs 651 trux fuckin booming piece of art that board is and quite valuable now
