ACS Trucks: The Product Reflects Our Quality

If you look closely at the truck in the photograph you can see that it has been retouched by hand. It almost looks like a 3D rendering.

ACS skateboard trucks… The product itself reflects our quality.

You can see the difference in ACS skateboard trucks. They gleam. That’s because we’ve combined incredible toughness with a jewel-like finish. We did it by coming up with a new technology. It lets us combine precision die-casting with the remarkable 356 aluminum-magnes-ium alloy heat-treated to T-6— an alloy that previous-ly was cast only in rough-finish molds. And our new technique doesn’t mean our prices are any higher than ordinary die-cast trucks.

Die-casting, unlike sand casting, results in a precisely-dimensioned, gleaming truck body. And 356-T-6 is a super-tough, light alloy. The same alloy critical air-craft components are made from. You wouldn’t want anything less beneath your feet. Look for ACS trucks at dealers. You’ll see the difference. And when they’re on your board, these gleaming trucks will be a good reflection on you.

  • My first skate was a cobra comp. With ACS 9” (9’s) and RED Kryptonic (park) wheels.

A smooth ride at the skatepark in West Vancouver.

  • Wulfhere

Harbour Kicktail board, ACS Lite II trucks & fat red Kryptonix or Dogtowner wheels.

  • Akwhitty

My ACS trucks were paired with road rider 4. Red.
Could not afford the Alva board I wanted. Purchased in Burbank 1977

  • It does not look real, I had a pair in 1978, and bought another set, the axle is smooth under the wheel

    • It definitely has a retouched quality, which in those pre-Photoshop days would have been airbrushed.
