Zombie Cover Shoot: Volume 2 Number 1

Not really… I set out to shoot the cover of the new print issue (Volume 2 Number 1) that is titled “Return of the Annoying Dead.” The title was originally slated for an issue in volume one. Since we never used that concept, I resurrected the idea and conscripted Grover to wear a mummy costume for the cover. Two rolls of crepe paper, one suit of women’s long underwear and a roll of film later we were done shooting. Suprisingly, only one kid asked us what were were doing. There was only a handful of skaters present, and most of them just gave us sideways glances. I suppose we looked like kooks, but where’s your sense of humor? Grover thought that I bought ladies long underwear so just so I could make fun of him. I told him it was cheaper and there was no way anyone would ever know once we got him suited up. So don’t say anything to him. Considering he regularly and purposefully wears women’s sunglasses, I’m surprised he cared.
