David Carrasco was trolling Skate and Annoy and came across a photo of model of the Pepsi team van. Turns out that figure on the sode of the van is a shot of him taken from a 1977 photo that appeared in an old magazine called Wild World of Skateboarding. David is still skating with his brothers Richy and Rene over at Sk8kings.

This 1978 Pepsi commercial has everything; street skating (well, sidewalks), a dog on a longboard, hockey helmets, gorilla gips, flyouts, freestyle, soft volleyball kneepads, skateparks and more. Watch the video, courtesy of skate and surf film historian Scott Starr, after the jump.

Well, how could I refuse this, even if it did come from an eBay auction put up by a member with the dubious name of “boneite?” Best part was, he turned out to be an S&A reader by the name of Tom, who also lives in Portland.
