Here’s some pretty cool POV footage of some downhill action courtesy of Madrid rider Zak Maytum, who starts out at the back and ends up passing everyone at least once. This reminds me of the old Omnimax footage of the rollercoaster ride and corvettes driving down a windy road. Iggy and the Stooges on the soundrtack too. A posers day? I see some vaguely 80-ish fashion in this vid, but otherwise I don’t get it. What I do get is some massive expanses of roly poly concrete that looks ancient and awesome. So much wide open unprogrammed space… That looks like fun. – Thanks to Sam for the tip.

Here’s a recently constructed house by the architecture firm A-cero out of Madrid. It’s got some nice transitions but the concrete looks a little rough in sections. Still, I’ve seen worse skateparks… That’s a crazy tight miniramp with an extra helping of vert surrounding the front door. More pictures on Freshhome.
