Friday T&A on S&A: Hot and Saucy Pizza Girls
The adult film Hot and Saucy Pizza Girls from 1979 appears to have at least four skateboarding scenes. I haven’t been able to find a copy online for less than $17, and I’m not prepared to shell out that much to find out. Some VHS copies are going for $30! Desiree Cousteau is billed as the female lead, and she coincidentally starred in Female Athletes too. Pizza Girls gets good “reviews” for attempted plot and comedy, although I suspect there was one good review and everyone just paraphrases it. Tune in after the jump for a PG-13 trailer that is still NSFW if you have the audio track loud at the end. There’s also a link to an entirely NSFW trailer. Both trailers have hot and spicy skateboard action. – Thanks to BrockEs for the tip.
Friday T&A on S&A
Lots of things for sale on eBay. I was looking up some vintage skate shirts and found this guy who is making his girlfriend model all his t-shirts for eBay. “Come on baby, you’ll be star.” Whatever, at least she looks like she’s into it. Left to right: Droors shirt from the 90’s, G&S skateboards from the 80’s, and Globe Australia from… ? He’s got some “punk” items and snowboard related stuff, plus Styx…. Best part is, you can’t really see the the design on the shirts in most of pictures. That’s marketing!
Friday T&A on S&A: Female Athletes
As seen on the Berrics. This is a poster for an adult film from 1979 titled Female Athletes. The folks at the Berrics have not “seen the ‘film’ and have no plans to,” but they did appropriate the image for a t-shirt. Come on. If you are going to rip off the poster, at least watch the movie, or don’t pretend to be so demure about the whole thing, Here at S&A, we’ve got no such hangups. I found the whole thing online and skimmed it for skateboarding scenes, but saw none. I had to skim it, the damn thing is 80 minutes long, and that’s way to long for an adult film. Although you have to admire how they at least try to be like a real film, with a story line, acting and all. Nice original soundtrack too. – Thanks to Mike Estes for the tip.
Friday T&A on S&A: Skateboard Kink Freak
If you can believe it, this adult film uses skateboarding to sell itself, yet according to one review, if you blink you’ll miss the brief instance a skateboard actually shows up, and they make no mention of in the dialogue. It’s almost as if, (gasp!) the plot is entirely unimportant to the movie.
Friday T&A on S&A: Nekkid Z-Boiz of Idaho
This one is for our female readers – that’s right, both of them. (Hi Stephanie and Judi!) It’s a 1978 Mitch York photo of Bill Zuehl, doing a nude downhill run. The photo was one of three that appeared in The June 7th, 2009 edition of the Idaho Statesman in an article titled “Z-Boiz of Idaho.” Once your done reading, check out the link to Mitch’s web site, which has a great gallery of 32 shots of the Boise Idaho scene from 1975-79, including a bunch of Boise’s Tidy Bowl. Now imagine Mr Zuehl is looking for work and his prospective employer does a google search for his name… – Thanks to Mark Ward for the tip.
Friday T&A on S&A: Mishka Pinup Calendar
This is from the 2009 pinup calendar published by the NYC clothing brand Mishka, and shot by fashion and pinup photog Ellen Stagg. Looks like it’s sold out or missing from the web site, so no idea whether or not there were more skateboards than the one found on the cover. There’s a coule sentences from Ellen on the Mishka site, and a large version of the cover on Frank151.
Friday T&A on S&A: I Wish they all could be… David Lee Roth
OK people, I’m going to keep finding excuses to link to this David Lee Roth game until someone acknowledges it’s awesomeness. It’s already appeared twice without mention, so I’m through with subtlety. And so is California Girls Skateboards, an idea that is only missig Diamond Dave as a spokesman. Bikini Girls with skateboards, on skateboards. One of the models is April, 2001 Playmate of the Month Katie Lohman, who “loves skateboarding” and will prove it to you in a wobbly video after the jump – She’s no Keeani Lei. You have to check out the video with the owner of the company too, it’s priceless. – Thanks to Michael Brooke for the tip.
Friday T&A on S&A: Front Magazine
Front magazine features “Britain’s fittest girls.” The latest issue tells readers to “Put on your kneepads, take out your shiny helmet and do some serious grinding as Rosie and Hettie go skate!” Errr, yeah. Rosie and Hettie seem more interested in other activities actually. I’m going to go out on a limb and call them, ahem, posers! Yes, I am that witty! Front is a carbon copy of any one of the many young men’s hipster lifestyle pinup magazines, except that it’s more NSFW than the typical U.S. fare. – Thanks to Aaron Shims fro the tip. Friday T&A on S&A: The Burnquist Samba
From the sketchy translation I got, this was at some mega ramp event that ended a week long celebration the history of skateboarding in Brazil, or not. For our purposes, it’s Bob Burnquist and Jake Brown (back turned) dancing with some socially and culturally acceptable scantily clad Carnaval-type gals on the mega ramp in Brazil, thanks to the web site Skatecultura.
Friday T&A on S&A: Classical art
When we’re not sinking to the lowest common denominator, we’re promoting the classical arts. Alex Castanada sells oil paintings on skateboards via Etsy. Some have more of a classical nude feeling, while a few are more pinup style poses. They aren’t cheap, but apparently they are selling. The whole collection is viewable on the the artist’s blog. – Thanks to Sam for the tip.
