I’m continuing the recent trend of having visitors from other states sending in photos of skate spots in my own geographical proximity that I am apparently too lazy to shoot on my own. This time it’s Hidehiko Fujiwara who went to Marginal Way and did some surveillance.
Wy don’t we cover (fill in your favorite geographic locale) because we aren’t there. But if you are, we’d love to hear from you, as in the case with Davie Freeman who is in Okinawa, Japan. Mr Freeman sent some pics and a short write up. Enjoy.
BJ Morrill sent in this photo by Matt “Cookie” Jenkins. What is this , a Lowcard advert? What’s his deal? We were out in Oregon a couple months ago and here is a random pic from the Donald park. It was really hot out that day and we consumed lots of beer. Fair enough. Click […]
Is it in Beaverton or Tualitin Hills? Is it a “novice” park or what? Who cares? The new Grindline built concrete addition to the skatepark at the Howard M. Terpenning Recreation Complex is indeed open for skating.
Hey every one my friend Andy was in town for the Dew A.S.T. tour, and yours truly got a media pass. I saw him Friday afternoon at practice he told me he and Chris Miller were going to skate Pier Park. It was nice to see that place properly ridden. Those guys were also very […]
This week’s Shot of the Week is Greg Baller at a bowl in Halifax, Nova Scotia as shot by Steve Hayes, AKA “Shayes.” Said Greg, We paint the park regularly because the graffiti is awful here! Right now it is beige/brown, and with a few throw pillows would be quite tasteful. What about some shag […]
The new Grindline built novice park at the Howard M. Terpenning Recreation Complex is open for skating. Too bad it was raining today. Reports are that it is small but fun. There’s that word again. Oh no, I just blew out the skatepark. Thanks Rick MacDonald for the phone cam shot.
This is am image of a SpohnCrete precast waterfall from a Flickr post. It addresses one of the concerns found in the “cons” section of prefab concrete from companies such as Spohn Ranch, who have actually sent me a bunch of imagery and correspondence as a rebuttal to previous criticisms that I need to get […]
Going off right now right here You’ll have to register but it doesn’t take long. I couldn’t get the low bandwidth version to go but the bigger one worked. Thanks to Troy Sliter for the heads up.
