Skateboard Stairs: Take 3
Another skateboard stairs concept reaches reality. Though featured on Recyclart, those are clearly all new skateboards, and kind of crappy modern Kryptonics if I’m not mistaken. The metal supports are a custom fabrication. See skateboard stairs: Part 1 – Part 2 Addendum: I was looking at the Kryptonics web site, and they have a little page bragging about being around the original Burnside skatepark! There are some weird illustration/caption combos in their timeline.
BFF
Best Friends skateboard. You know, like the little girl’s necklaces. By Carlton Dewoody, for sale on Grey Area. The price tag is absurd, but my hats off to Carlton for having the hutzpah to get it done and listed for that amount.
Data Dance
The description is pretentious, and even though it looks fitting, there’s absolutely no Devo in the soundtrack. You’ll never get the next 3 minutes and 34 seconds back. I like a lot of weird, pointless stuff, but this? Well, you’ve been warned.

Grindbakken by Rotor
Dezeen has photos of some skateable industrial architecture painted up pretty and chopped up a little and presented as an art installation. The bank looks fun, but the installation looks really intriguing actually. Rotor is the collective culprit in Belgium. – MC is an art phag.

Primo
Sure, but where’s Diane? Nichlaus Abraham, AKA Warm Fuzzy Co was not offended when I said his illustrations reminded me of Superjail. There are a few other skateboards in there too.
I want to skate
No kidding? Me too. Arthur King made these alternative skateboards and Hugues Lawson-Body photographed them. {Source: White Zine] – Thanks to Matthijs for the tip
animation
Very reminiscent of skateboardanimation, and also very cool. Almost as interesting? The making of video. Still more at Cleptomanicx. – Thanks to… I’ve misplaced the email with the tip, Help!
