I watched the trailer for “Never Quit,” a motivational film about skateboarding. I’m wondering why I haven’t heard of this guy before, because it almost seems like a Sacha Baron Cohen project. That’s one hell of a bomb drop, but also one waste of money for one trick. It’s a temporary installation that just ends in the flat. We passed Freestyle Pizza near Umatilla, Oregon on our road trip out east. It didn’t occur to us to actually eat there, but we did stop for pictures. This 1966 film is available for viewing online, legally at the National Film Board of Canada. Actually, they are showing the 1969 version, which is the English language version instead of the original French version. You can even buy a DVD copy if you want.
