Atlanta Spot Check

I was in Atlanta for about 30 hours to watch the MLS Cup. The Timbers lost, which was a bummer. My experience was essentially Airport to Marta to Hotel to Stadium to AirbnB to Airport. I didn’t get to see a lot, but I did catch some nice looking, but mostly wet terrain.

Check out this perfect transition in the wild! You have to ollie up a curb to get to it, but wow! Surely this spot outside the Marriott Marquis is a bust.

From the other side, this one you could use the natural runup if you’re an old man and can’t relabel ollie up a curb.

This curb separates a bike lane on a long incline. It appears to made out of granite, and has one abrupt 90 degree angel and one smooth possibly 35 degree face. Grinds until your legs turn to jello!

Snapped this one from inside a Lyft, so I didn’t get a closeup view of these parallel waves. Looks like they are skate stoppered though.
