Fake Lucero
I forgot where I found this one, but it is clearly a copy of the Lucero X1 deck from 1986. I can’t read the word right under the front truck, but the original deck says ‘Schmitt Stix’.

Does it say ‘californa’?
I was amazed to see this picture on google! This is the first skateboard I ever owned, which my grandparents bought for me at montgomery wards in the 80’s. It was the coolest genero board I could find. Later (weeks/months) when I learned about John Lucero, I thought I lucked out and got a low grade pro board. I then thought no theres no way, and went back and forth on weather it was a legit board or not. One thing is for sure, that was the heaviest board I ever rode! That thing was a tank! Good luck on the ollies! A couple years later I got a real x2 lucero, which I was stoked to get (traded a brand new pair of black suede nike airs I had gotten for christmas for it..reluctantly..)
