It’s weird 1920’s swimsuit evil landlord villain surfing on a skateboard. He first made an appearance on the packaging for Trickray wheels. This time it’s a fiberglass Mark IV skateboard deck, large enough to make out the artist’s signature – Pfister. I’m not sure if this Mark IV is another Trickray product or if this illustration was just passed around. I seem to recall posting another instance of it but I can’t find it.

I still have mine. Original open bearing Trick ray wheels,…
The deck was a slippery mess, when I rode it and I ended up putting black grip tape down the center. So the graphic got covered.
Was a great board in the 70’s

My older neighbor had this bored and then I bought one for myself. I have been searching for one for so long and that was difficult because I kind of forgot what the board look like. I knew it had a surfer guy surfing the wave but I did not know it was a trickray! Then I saw this photo and I remembered the checkered Flags. Now I have to find this board

Hey Christopher-
I am the original owner of a Mark IV…hit me up as I’m downsizing and it will be for sale.
