I was out of town last week in an area with zero phone/internet access, and thus there were no posts. And now I’m back, and miracles of all miracles, I skated an honest to god vert ramp in Portland over the weekend. It’s 40 foot wide with 9.5 foot transitions and 1.5 feet of vert. Instead of kickass skate photos, I took a few of an uncooperative goat that calls this ramp home.
Chewy would not cooperate with me while I was trying to frame the photos, this one is a little odd looking, and that’s why I like it.

I have access to an excavator. Just curious how much it would cost to buy all the rebar and concrete for a small pool with a 3 foot deep section then rolling into a 5 foot section. Like a figure 8 I guess.
Is it less expensive to just build with wood even though the excavation wouldn’t cost anything?

sick , what did they use as a surface?? and what do they do when it rains
so it don’t get all water logged and soggy?

Skatelight, courtesy of Bob Burnquist, who I guess just recovered his with concrete. So far it hasn’t rained much (today notwithstanding) I think it might be trapped up. It’s brand new.
