  • Ha! Didn’t know Kilwag posted this. There was an impromptu vert wall contest that day and I was trying for backside wheelers but not even coming close. I had to settle for the drop in. Super sketchy and slammed twice but eventually got it. Tre flips are out of the question but there are some streetstyle capabilities that shall stay top secret for the time being.

As far as Jackass, when Rick Kosick called me in 2000 to re-join with the crew I was just really over hanging out with those guys so I declined. I knew they were going to make grips of cash but not having to deal with corporate MTV/Viacom kooks and/or having to live the stupid TMZ lifestyle was worth the sit-out.

Nevertheless, there was recent talk of a 20 year Big Brother Mardi Gras reunion tour for 2014 that didn’t generate a whole lot of interest. Duane Pitre (Workshop) Marc McKee (Dwindle) and myself were the only ones willing to report for duty.

    peace.

    • wall eyed glue huffer

that makes a alot of sense, i dont personally know u, but viacom life seems annoying as fuck

  • wall eyed glue huffer

pelt me w/ eggs if u want but how come he didnt get an mtv spot on that jackass crud, he was the life of big brother magazine and far funnier than the rest…born again boredom maybe

  • I want to see him 360 flip it.

  • Good to see Woodstock back again. Theres no advantage to any of Simons bizzare boards apart from a damn good photo and a laugh or two.

  • That is a rad photo.

  • Duck Dynasty Drop In…

I think he needs to stagger the trucks.

  • Sometimes I turn in a different direction than my trucks .

  • Holy crap , that was 25 years ago.

  • I rode an 8 wheeler on Rick mailers garage halfpipe it turned like ,well an 8 wheeler and if you bailed it became a 20 lb missle but it was fun as hell.

  • I get the point of an 8-wheeler (each set of trucks turns a different direction) but what is the point of 16? There are two sets of trucks that don’t do anything.

Some of the best things in life have no point.

      • I agree with Killwag. I’m still looking for the elusive 6 wheeled (1 truck up front and 2 trucks in the back) Sun California “Zeke” skateboard that I saw in my local shop as a kid in 1976.

KC – is it the one in this post? LINK? I’m dying to find one of these too.

          • I wish it was the same board, it is close though. The Zeke didn’t have cut outs and it had a wide square tail. I guess it was the poor mans Lonie Toft, except it may have been a little more functional. I haven’t seen one since the mid 70’s. They were made by Sun California Skate shop in Anaheim Ca.

    • It’s fun to mess around with different skateboard set ups.
I think this is a parody of the original Loni Toft 8 wheeler from the 1970’s which itself had “No Point” other than peoples thinking that “More” must= better.

      • I thought it was because he wanted to ride bigger decks but there weren’t any trucks wide enough
