This week’s Shot of the Week is the always understated, always ripping Tim Eberly enjoying a bit of a dork session at the Grover compound, and riding away from it. The Grover compound (Should I say Kompound?) is a bit like a mini Skatopia… That is if Skatopia had a wife who made sure nobody was going nuts and everything had to be cleaned up at the end of the day, and everyone left the premises so the owners could be in bed by 9:30. Photo by the never understated, sometimes ripping, Steve Grover. Yes, that is 150cc of pure 80’s Japanese hair dryer in the driveway. Eat it, Pete Townshend.

Aside from the conventional blow dryer found in most department stores, beauty supply stores have started to carry state-of-the art blow dryers and thermal styling tools that utilize ceramic and negative ionic energy to style hair and keep it healthy. A blow dryer that uses this type of energy dries your hair in half the time using less heat. The construction of the ionic blow dryer also utilizes ceramic heating elements instead of traditional metal ones to infuse moisture and health deep into the hair strand while at the same time drying it. ..-

Check out the ramp in the background. I came over that day and Grover had just finished it, he made the trannies as if it would be on a half pipe not flush to the ground….oops. He told me he just put it together so it would be easier to throw the wood away in one piece.

Variation of high jinks, an out of date phrase for goofing around, tomfoolery, shenanigans…
