The perks of public service?

This is a photo from Portland’s ongoing light rail expansion project to nearby Milwaukie, Oregon. It used to be located on the front page of the web site for the Bureau of Transportation, but it’s oddly missing now, so the doctored photo that Sam from SkateOregon isn’t nearly as topical now, but you can check it out after the jump. Although these concrete channels look skateable, I am pretty sure they will be buried and then filled with dirt and train tracks.

If you’re reading this and you’re not from Portland, Tom Miller is the head of the Bureau of Transportation, and a skateboarder as well. I need to point out that the caption on this has been doctored.
