When time allows, I like building with wood. I used to build houses, and I never stopped enjoying carpentery. Regardless of the medium, skate projects can get spendy and labor-intensive in a hurry.

If its like my project, it is stalled due to low employment rates and constant increases in cost of living. Plus all my friends turned into burnouts.
