Skate and Annoy: Daily

Laziness and Destiny

Destiny made sure the comment with this video was held in moderation. Laziness made me withhold it until I could make it into it’s own post. So yeah… Commercials… Skateboards… Ubiquitous. This web site is now irrelevant. Two skateboard spots for Dickies, one featuring Patrick Melcher and two featuring “SLAM.” Dickies pants indestructible? Sure they can withstand extreme dude’s hijinks, but they are destructible vs repeated old man butt slides on the transition.

– Thanks to Eric for the tip.

The square nose ? blockhead, laziness haven’t got rid those old dickies shorts with the ripped out knee. Destiny to put on the 187’s to skate.

  • Who cares if they are indestructible? What I want to know, and I think I speak for everyone, is whether they will make my ass look good.

  • Not the Tobes..

Look can we all just agree that front rocks with your hand down is totally HOMO? not that there is anything wrong with it… I just dont want my kids seeing that poop.

    • Hell yeah buddy. We can argue park terrain to death but you’re the Jesus of skateboarding today with that one.

  • pee blanket

what company makes “slam’s” board? i gotta have that shape!

  • Yes. “Slam” is Chris Lambert’s alter ego who hosts a show on Fuel TV. Pretty hilarious.

  • Sorry I had to ask. I don’t have TV and have since used the google machine to answer my own question.

Carl, if you don’t have T.V, then:
A)how did you see the press conference?
B)Why would you give a give a shit?
      C) I got nothin else, just seemed there should be a “C” option.

Not tryin to bust balls Carl, just got my curiousity

      • a) What press conference?
        b) Give a shit about what?
        c) Profit?

        • JakeAndAnnoy

Appeared it was you who posted the question as David Stern, I was addressing that post. No worries

        • Oops sorry. You got me there.

  • Is that Chris Lambert?

    • talentlessquitter

      The Highlander?

(That could well have been my last bad joke for this year…)

  • carvin' marvin'

if you can buy it at the mall, it’s not cool anymore

Speaking of commerce, the first one of y’all who can come up with an explanation of why Amare Stoudamire, at the press conference after the Knicks beat the Bulls on Christmas, was rocking a jacket with “skate or die” on the shoulder, wins a “Tha’s right” from Karl Malone.

    • JakeAndAnnoy

I think that his new Nike “Destroyer” jacket he got to design…..saw that too, actually, thought it sed do or die….

      • Karl Malone

Tha’s… wrong! I’m guessing that he’s sponsored by EA Sports, which first came out with a video game called “Skate Or Die” in ’87 (the other shoulder of the jacket said “Since 1987”, btw), but I don’t know that they’re making bank on it these days, especially compared to their baller games, so why he was wearing it, I couldna’ say. Maybe he skates (or, still would if his team let him)?? I’m sure Dwayne Wade or Manu Genobli would make great vert skaters, given their control in the air.
