Lafayette CO skatepark grand opening Saturday

The new skatepark for the city of Lafayette, CO is having a grand opening on December 11th, at noon, although I hear there has already been a soft opening. Check some more pictures on the Facebook page.. It seems like Team Pain owns the state of Colorado these days.

  • sick.. i skated there yesterday xD

  • The pro bowl is a cricket killer.

  • Sunday Morning 7:00am, 20 degrees F out, already about 15 to 20 kids skating. By 7:30, there was 30 people there with carloads more coming, still 20 degrees out. The ariel picture gives an impression of a very mellow snakerun. The thing gets really fast, really quick. The park has a great high speed flow, even through the plaza section. Can’t wait to end the workday and go skate. I’ll go skate the Broomfield skatepark for lunch to hold me over. Still debating on taking my brand new Per Welinder board with OJ III wheels there to get more speed.

Can that guy in the video smoke pole. F. That was the longest ass kissin sesh I have ever seen.
Team pain better be layin down some radical work after HOW MANY years have the been in business? thirty plus? well it’s about time they start to rival what Dreamland and Grindline have done twenty years ago.
Oh, we challenged them and they said “why not” pole smoker. The park does look sick and I think I just might have to make it over to CO this summer. Seems as though my Hailey, whitefish, polson trip just got extended. I do love the lights. “everything can be skated” NOt the light poles. unless I do some bonk or boneless off it. that’s use, not riding. so, NO! not everything can be skated.
I do commend him on the other stuff He’s not a pole smoker. You guys at sna are. Pole smokin Marek is the biggest pole smoker

  • I think team pain owns a lot of states…. of course when you make great parks it helps to corner the market.

  • ‘heart’ bowl is bondi bowl (australia) inspired.

  • Is that a ♥ shaped bowl?

  • i love team pain parks. i skated most of them in florida.
