Skate and Annoy: Daily

Not that there’s anything wrong with that

That’s that last time I let my kid watch the Bones Brigade Video Show. Sure, he knows who Lance Mountain is, and he gets gets a kick out of knowing that Lance has been to the same skatepark, but then he’s also demonstrating a strange fascination with Mullen’s footage. He’s only four. Maybe it’s just a phase.

Still wondering what color that fourth wheel is…

  • At least he’s riding a Bacon deck.

  • As long as he’s not pushin’ mongo, the freestylin’ is aok. Remind Grover about that… 🙂

When I saw the pic. before I had read anything,I thought it was Annoying kid of the month…

  • dougdrill

It’s awesome, and not strange at all he’s attracted to Mullen. Rodney has a pure, jesus-like aura that surrounds Him, and it’s magnetizing. It’s not just his skating, but something more sub-conscious that people sense from him, and are attracted to. Now the kid is a freestyler, which will improve all aspects of his life.

  • Throw in some Vicodin for dad and you got a deal.

  • i would prescribe three video parts per day of cardiel to cure the affliction.

  • JakeAndAnnoy

Btw Randy your son looks just like you. You guys should be in one of those Frosted Shredded wheat commercials…”But the kid in me loves the sweet taste…. of freestyle!”

    • A

You should have seen him before I made him shave off his mustache.

      • Ha, ha, ha! Seriously, though, encourage this freestyle path. It appears to be the key to long term skate-business success.

Hahaha..ah,le sigh….going to Kelso tonight w/DangerRuss Foisy(OMA)-he killed every inch of Woodland, 1st time there, tuesday, shit you not. Prob get some footage tonight.
If not, see you at the Trifecta foo-el.

Just a phase, no worries. I was asked by a friend one time what I would do if my son were gay. I said same thing I do everyday, I’d be his dad.
Glad no one has asked me what I’d do if he were a rollerblader.

    • Swamp Thing

A few weeks ago I saw a father-son pair rollerblading together in the bowl at the park. If I had any balls at all I would have intervened in an attempt to break the viscous cycle playing out before my eyes. That’s something I will just have to live with, I guess…

  • I’d have to say that your kid liking Rodney Mullen isn’t the worst thing in the world. After watching the Thrasher videos with Rodney and Phelps, seems to me Rodney is pretty humble for how amazing he is on a skateboard.

  • Build all the big bowls you want, you’ll never win the war against fun.

    • A

Poking fun at old skate video parts, and building tranny = war on fun? Oh I see, did you forget to take your meds and wear your tinfoil hat again?
