Skate and Annoy: Daily

It’s not really DIY…

…when you pay someone else to do it for you. Still, it’s got an appeal that leans that way. Look for it nestled in between a bunch of hippies in southeast Portland. Jesse built this. He’s on the crew that built Coos Bay and Gold Beach.

Nobody, you are right about the shallow.
Maybe it was those humboldt cats who helped themselves to some Arcata like finish work.
Anyway, I like Coos and will be back.

  • Coos bay was an effort of local skate boarders . Skaters from all over Oregon and humbolt county helped on the effort. Therewasnt enough money to build the park and the city threw up road blocks on a weekly basis . The skaters kept fighting and boom a skatepark built by the skate boarders. ANYONE involved in helping build something for our kids to skate “thank you !” again “THANK YOU !” .

That’s the most proper shallow end I have ever skated in a skate park!!
Loosen them trucks and have some fun.

LMFAO…Not really sure who OLDMAN is but I’m pretty sure that he helped on that bowl and not the other one.

Well, let’s talk some Coos Bay for a second. I found out real quick the one bowl has an insane shallow end, and the deep end has lumps, ripples, and the finish work of a monkey on meth. Then you jump or crawl out of that turd work and into the serious (we have the right crew who knows what’s up) bowl, craddle, gnarness. It’s sort of like Reedsport, one section you have greatness and the other section turdness. What the phuck? And so.

  • fs stall…..dunk…potential?

  • I’ll say it again, that is just the cutest little mini ramp. should be in a sunset magazine shot or something

  • Jesse was only on the crew for Gold Beach not coos bay the only people on the crew for CB was Jason, Zach, Lori, Deago, Chris, myself and “Danny for a few months.” sounds like you know my lifes story OLD MAN so why don’t you tell these fine people what really went on at Coos Bay.

  • Hey tristen why dont you just get some coffee and stand around coosbay watching zac do all the work then bail out on those guys and start your own thing. i dont like you one bit

  • Jesse has done some good work on this side of the river as well. Keep up the good work Jesse!

  • sounds like somebodies got their panties in a trist’en…

  • tristen, read the above again, “He

  • Looks nice jesse, but one or two days helping out at coos bay doesn’t mean you built it just that you helped i love it when people take credit for things they didn’t do.

Don’t blame him, he said he helped out over there, I made the generalization that he was part of the crew.

  • it sure looks clean and gives the impression that it would be easy to do haha

  • There’s rubble and dirt inside. The form was boxed in on the back and I think there was mesh containing the rubble so they could pour that back face.

  • that looks like its solid concrete, wonder what the form looked like
