Architects design skatepark that isn’t street plaza
Not entirely true. There’s supposed to be a street plaza and (shudder to think) vert ramp too, but it looks like the only part that isn’t just a CAD file at this point in time is this bowl complex. Germany’s MBA/S Associates designed this park that resides in Stuttgart. They even feature it on the front page of their web site.

– Thanks to Ryan for the tip
this park has been in planning for over 6 years and the architect is an older vert skater. glad to see it come to reality
is there enough rebar in the flat section?
looks like the might have skimped a little. i do admire them for going against traditional skatepark building wisdom and doing the flats first instead of last….
Sick MMA ring on top of that ramp.
The park has been finished for over a year now. The architect is an old vert dog. He got real excited to watch everyone skate the park when I was there.
Here’s a snap of the street section. Simple yet fun.

Yet again, Minus-Ramps out of Hamburg, Germany built this park – check out their website for their latest projects, some damn cool skateparks are being built in Germany!
