Architects design skatepark that isn’t street plaza

Not entirely true. There’s supposed to be a street plaza and (shudder to think) vert ramp too, but it looks like the only part that isn’t just a CAD file at this point in time is this bowl complex. Germany’s MBA/S Associates designed this park that resides in Stuttgart. They even feature it on the front page of their web site.

      looks like the might have skimped a little. i do admire them for going against traditional skatepark building wisdom and doing the flats first instead of last….

  4. The park has been finished for over a year now. The architect is an old vert dog. He got real excited to watch everyone skate the park when I was there.
