    Danny Way is the man!

  • “Just like bombing a hill…” 🙂 Says the guy ollie-ing into a 30′ quarter…

this one is more a victory for the common man.

  • No, no straps… and MC, you’re almost 50 and can do Andrecht inverts….you’ve already won.

  • Vegetable Lasagna

rebel, artist, anarchist – I wholeheartedly agree.

You can’t always win anyway, only jocks and their
dads need to always win. Losing builds more character
    anyhoo.

“I believe Danny Way, Bob Burnquist, Jake Brown, etc. etc., and even Ryan Sheckler would say FU to those kids PRBL. ”

can’t believe you put ryan sheckler in the same sentence as the other three…………… !!!
would ryan sheckler even ride a mega ramp?!

    • Ryan sheckler did ride a mega ramp, he got a few grab tricks over the gap or whatever, but I agree he is a total douche and should not be compared to the og’s of skateboarding

  • straps would be very bad, and dangerous on the mega for beginners. you need to ditch that board in a bail or you are gonna break your back. straps would only help you in some situation where you need to defy the physics of skateboarding.I’ll personally never need to defy those physics, but “if I had to choose” I would pick the magnetboard over a strap board. I ain’t sayin’ magnets are a good idea, just a better idea than straps.

there’s no game to win, no field to win it on, in skateboarding. except in your own mind. that’s the only place it matters.

  • pads will lengthen the overall time (in decades) that one can spend on a skateboard. Straps / bindings on a tow in surfboard are necessary due to the high speed and mega chop usually encountered in bigger surf when getting whipped in by a 40mph jetski, no kick flips required. paddle in guys don’t use them. stealth winner, all the way everyday.

If you were Optimus Prime it wouldn’t be a big deal.
It would be like skating a mini-ramp.
So just think like Optimus Prime and you got it.
Unless you got up there and got diarreah and stomach cramps. Then you would just be a pussy.

  • I believe Danny Way, Bob Burnquist, Jake Brown, etc. etc., and even Ryan Sheckler would say FU to those kids PRBL. Bindings? Yes, lame for skateboarding. Pads? Saved their lives on the mega ramp, on more than one occasion…

When I grow up, I wanna be a loser like MC.

  • I’m sure many kids see mega ramp riders’ big boards, wide trucks and (dare I say) pads as equal sins to using bindings…

  • A

No. I can safely say I could not stomach the drop in on the megaramp, bindings or no.

  • I wonder if they
