Park overview from the bowl area. I think the other parts of the park are more fun, actually. The bowl is kind of a let down.

    Gayyyyy
but i live like 4 miles away and the park is sick, but dont go to it to much becuase it gets lame afters skating it alot.

  • I LOVE THIS PARK!!!!!

  • the bowl is FUN as FUCK!

its random, but so legit. plus the local kids don’t really know how to skate it yet so it ain’t too crowded either!

i agree though…the rest of the park IS FUCKING AMAZING!!!

I think Harrisburg is a really good bowl. I like the fact that you can take a mini-ramp trick and slowly work your way up the mellow escalating wall, all the way to vert. I am so close to taking a few tricks to real vert, tricks I wouldn’t have otherwise even tried on vert.

  • It struck a nerve with me too. I guess it is different when you are use to driving less than 30 minutes to get to skateparks. But around here a public bowl with a foot of vert was impossible to find 6 months ago.

I personally find the street course to be a complete clusterf#ck when there are more than 3 people trying to ride it.

  • The Pretty Pony Skateboarding web site. Yes! Do it.

Geez Colin, that’s ironic, you of all people getting down on people for being negative.

It’s just my opinion, and I voiced it without malice. I like the Harrisburg skatepark,in fact I really enjoyed it, but to me the bowl is the least interesting part of it, that’s all. Head on over to the Pretty Pony Skateboarding web site if you never want 100% positive 100% of the time.
