Blowing out spots for Bobcat

Spot check, Seattle. John Aguilar sent these in. It’s near the Bell Street Pier in the Port of Seattle. He said the street view from Google Maps was better than his shots. You can be the judge after the jump. Looks like a rad spot.

Who is John Aguilar?

He’s sent in a lot of tips and photos, often having to do with Mexico, because he used to live there. Here’s a video he made from an old school vert jam in Mexico City. In the beginning you get to watch his dad (?) passed out in the car. This vid is late 90’s maybe?

He didn’t mention that there’s a trough of gravel in front of it.

Yeah, we’ve all seen that spot and wished there wasn’t two feet of gravel between the sidewalk and the big bank. The bikers have been hittin’ it up, so someones gettin’ it.

What there is already gravel there? Some one go buy a bag of crete and make that thing skateable. Come on it’s not rocket science…

Thanks for volunteering! Post pics when it’s done. I’m sure it’ll last about 5 minutes since it’s in Seattle newest multi-million dollar art project.

    Man typing sure is easy!

If a rat even farts next to that park, the police are there. try touching the art at SAM. I dare you.

Want action? want a daring stunt wall? try the mossy downhill 80 degree banks southeast of Woodland Park on 50th. (insert noise of 1000 keyboarders google street mapping that address)

how long would it take to put down a piece of plywood over a section? possible to drop in on that?

Go check out what I’m building in my back yard before you talk shit. Man it’s easy to talk shit on a keyboard. just pre mix the crete in buckets walk down the side walk at about 4:20 in the morning dump it on the gravel Mag it flat and run. I am by no means recomending that you vandalize public property. but if it had to be done you could.

  8. Wow, man, Nice project. I’ve been dying to skate some spine lately. What town do you live in?

  9. Just at 11 AM with a truck and some construction uniforms. No more lurking at 4:20 AM… Interesting time choice, BTW. Honestly, you’ll have better luck doing it that way. Who’s gonna question a city worker. Who’s got the truck and the vests?

  11. I’m Down in Coos Bay. I actually wanted to start this last summer, but Coos Bay’s park took up all my time.

    nice bowl!

seattle’s fucking weak with renegade shit. they already warned the skaters that if they try to make another Marginal they’ll tear both places down. while other places build parks – seattle demos em. 2 so far….
