Scott Selover sent in a handful of pics from The Tim Brauch Memorial contest. It’s all old men or young kids! He said they weren’t up to SnA standards, but I showed him! Don’t forget that results are at Skate Daily and there are some more pics from Larry over here. Otherwise, Scott’s pics after the jump.
Slab of Salba

These next two are Scott’s 11 year old son Jake at another park they stopped at while down there. Something or place called Scotts Valley, Portrero.

no chaperone, i was just a groupie on that day. i could never enter one of those contests, unless axle stalls count as best trick.

That park in San Jose is big, both in sq footage and features. The “Skull Bowl” is pretty well done. If you drop shallow to deep stay out of the exact middle where the seam is. I saw a few who hung up there, including DP who almost ate some serious crap. Hosoi and Cab killed it, but DP was the entertainment. That dude is fun to watch skate, still ripping.
Yes, Portrero’s bowl is nice. Great park in the city, good vibe.
Larry, were you skating the comp?

Not that his pics are low quality or the skating, just my ability to shoot photos

If I can get my home computer to work again I’ll have some low quality photos and video soon, too
