If you think of art as knicknacks or tchotchkes to be sprinkled around your city or garden because of your horror vacui, you might find what you need from Krupps.
On the other hand an image of a skateboarder might inspire or at least provoke: what on earth is a triumphal skater figure doing there? – similar in some ways to the BBOS but so much more dignified.
how is it possible for these sculptors to study the body positioning, clothing wrinkles, etc. of skateboarding, but they always fail at getting the actual skateboard to look right?
They have another one at the Wilmington NC skatepark.
isn’t the Wilmington, N.C. sculpture made out of spare car parts and miscellaneous metal pieces?
