D.I.Y. is freedom. Go off grid! There is always a better, more simple way to heat your house or fuel your car. Ultimately convenience and creature comforts are the god we serve. As much as I agree that Bush and his cronies lied us into Iraq over oil it is nevertheless a fact that the fundamental reason for rising oil prices is because it is a finite resource whose production has reached its peak while worldwide demand continues to increase as much of Asia industrializes.
