If anyone knows a buyer I have a Nash Flyme board with the xr-2 trucks and the 1/2and 1/2 wheels and all the gaurds on it in almost perfect condition.I also have a Nash Redline in very good condition.I’m just a old skater that knows most dont care about these old boards but if anyone is interested i will send pics.

I’m interested in the “Fly Me” board.
      Please e-mail me!

  • ok, something has been bothering me from the start… am I seeing this wrong or is that Executioner in the comic a hammerhead shape?

spk, You dawg! 😉 I wanted the “LOCALS ONLY” but it was ten bucks more and I didn’t want to wait to skate! The two tone wheels were the deal! YA!

  • i had a LOCALS ONLY Nash skateboard. xr2 trucks ans half black half purple wheels.

  • houseofneil

there was a Haro circuitboard on ebay last week. he wanted $300. No takers.

I’ve got pics of the Executioner and Fly Me

  • Damn, I just had a great idea. I need to collect photos of those decks and redo this comic as a photo manipulation. Now who is going to play charlie brown?

  • lol! I forgot about the rails. That whole set up was a tank!

  • houseofneil

    whatever the hell XR-2 means.

I also liked the “Get a Grip” rails that were serrated on the inside, guaranteeing instant sliced fingers.

  • yep, XR-2 is correct.

  • I was going to say “Fly Me”. Yes, i have that one off the top of my head. Ninjas wer sick, too.

  • houseofneil

    XR-2 wasn’t it?

  • That Mindless Scribblings is very thought provoking art. Thanks Conahan for sharing it. Deck graphics have fought to evolve. Have they become better or worse? Someone needs to do a rideable shape spoof deck with those old sporting goods store graphics.

Trivia: Can anyone remember what it said on the trucks that came on the Executioner?

The palm trees board is called “Fly Me” – That’s not one I would have known off the top of my head, but I just happened to see a picture of one today.

  • houseofneil

Wow, so let’s see. We have a Haro Circuit Board, a Nash executioner, I’m guessing that third one is the Nash that had the palm trees and flamingos. And the main board is the Krypstick. Nice.

  • The Executioner! $29.95 from Dave Cook Sporting Goods. Mine was yellow. I wanted a Veriflex but didn’t have enough cash. Later that summer I scored a Grosso, Angel/ Demon.

  • This comic might raise the value. Is that the Executioner I see in the background? You can see it bigger here.

  • houseofneil

are you mocking me? And anyway, you know the answer already. . .
