Lincoln City Snake run video

Lincoln City Snake ate my video camera

A lot of our readers won’t get a chance to go to Lincoln City and see what the new snake run looks like. Fortunately for them, I’ve gone ahead and put together a short video tour that looks like it was shot by a meth addict in withdrawl who covered the lens with vaseline, stuck it down his pants and then dropped it in the dirt. This is the first time I’ve looked at any of the footage I’ve shot on a large screen in a long time. I can’t wait to see those family videos…

I’m back on Youtube, under an assumed identity. Needed something fast. Man the compression sucks. Eventually I’ll get a better solution for video. Grover is chomping a the bit. For anyone who hasn’t been there – Yes, all that terrain is in one skatepark, and it’s not done yet.

On the downhill part I am trying to check my speed as much as possible, short of dragging my feet.

Aw hell. YouTube version looks like crap, and this video needs all the help it can get. Here’s to an experiment in bandwidth usage. You can download the movie as a 13mb Mp4 file. (Right or control click, choose “save as.” It may stick a .txt extention on the file, just remove it, leaving the .mp4. I obviously don’t have this completely worked out yet.)

That bowl had no drain. It was a home brew project hidden off in the not-very-distant woods until The snake run excavation took down the surrounding trees. It’s the same bowl in this shot.

  • don’t need no bucket to drain no water. well…no plastic one no how.

  • lacking a drain in that other bowl, or was it just clogged?

James Cramer – Sorry. The snake run is done, but the whole park is not. They are trying to decide what to build next. I think they might be adding more area for the groms to skate next. Unconfirmed.

Yeah, It wasn’t showing up on the tiny LCD. I was appalled when I went to digitize it. I think the hair and most of the dirt was in between the wide angle adapter and the actual lens. It’s gross when it’s in focus.

  • you know… lens cloths aren’t that expensive.
