Drove my 28mpg Camry 120mi rt yesterday to skate SJ. Cost me $16 in gas, free parking (Weekday? Off-season?), $2 entry, and $15 for a souviner T-shirt.
By far the best all-around park I’ve skated.
yeah, i park in the neighborhood across the street and walk a quarter mile to the park. i need to save that 6 dollars every time i go so i’ll have my emergency room copay covered.
“if you drive, that adds at least another 1$ or 2$ in gas too.”
Only if you live really close to the park. If you figure in gas, oil, insurance, and depreciation the true cost of driving is easily 50 cents per mile and much more than that if you drive something like an Escalade.

It’s still 8 bucks if you drive there by yourself.
